A formidable warrior bound to an ancient Oni mask that channels the power of shadows. Takashi fights with raw ferocity — fists, blade, and darkness — controlling the battlefield through unpredictable shadow manipulation. His strikes land with crushing weight, amplified by demonic energy coursing through his veins.
The sole master of the White Flames of Hell — an ancient, uncontrollable fire so immense no other being can wield it. Kairen commands four katanas with terrifying precision. His most feared blade grows larger with every drop of blood it draws. Between weapon mastery and stolen souls, Kairen adapts and dominates any fight.
A disciplined elemental combatant who has mastered all four fundamental forces of nature. Kumorashi cycles between fire, water, wind, and earth offensively and defensively, creating complex elemental combos. His control over nature itself makes him one of the most versatile fighters on the roster.
An ancient warlord cursed with both endless life and the power to end all others. His death touch kills whatever he grasps — living or otherwise — and he can project this lethal energy as a ranged attack. He sustains himself mid-battle by leeching vitality, and his hooked sword tears through armor and bone alike.
A deranged jester who mocks the laws of combat. He copies enemy techniques mid-fight, hurls bizarre trinkets that do unpredictable damage, and fights with erratic melee attacks that are almost impossible to read. Reverse God laughs at strategy — he IS the chaos. His power peaks when unseen.
Discover through gameplay
Before the masks. Before death. There was only The First. An entity of indeterminate origin whose body is a weapon — every surface capable of producing a mouth with rows of razor teeth. The First devours at range, devours up close, and devours mid-air. No angle is safe. No distance is safe.
A primordial demon warlord whose mastery over gravity warps the battlefield itself. Tenma rips boulders from the earth with bare hands, wreathed in violet aura, and hurls them with bone-crushing force. His punches carry a lethal chance of sending opponents flying across the arena. When his power peaks, Tenma triggers devastating earthquakes — cracking the ground and raining homing rocks that track enemies with relentless precision.
Half drawn in ink, half rendered in pixels — The Editor exists between artistic styles, shifting form every time he takes a hit. Beneath a cracked half-mask and one glowing red eye, he rewrites the rules of combat in real time. His glitch-coated fists corrupt whatever they touch, his energy blade tears through reality's rendering layer, and when fully charged, he overwrites the arena itself — crashing the map into a corrupted, glitching nightmare while dealing flat damage and boosting his own stats to terrifying levels.
Cast out from the Bloodform Legion when his blood mutated from crimson to pure black, Zagreus rebuilt himself from exile — wires threaded through his skin to channel what the clan called a curse. He wears a half-skeleton mask over his lower face, not to hide what he is, but to show it. His black blood doesn't just wound: it withers, rots, and lingers after the hit is over. At 50% HP, the transformation completes — flesh tears away to reveal the truth underneath, and the real Zagreus steps forward.
The Fourth has no name that survived. It ate the people who gave it one. One of twelve primordial entities born before the age of masks, it wandered the known world with a single purpose — hunger. Not hunger for sustenance, but for accumulation. It swallowed cities whole, absorbed their weight, and grew. A fat hulking monster bound in tiny chains across its enormous belly, with a giant tongue and maw in the gut itself — always open, always wet. Its mace-arm can reach you before you see it coming. Its hook arm hits harder than it has any right to. But the belly bite is what finishes the job. Related to The First in ways neither of them would admit.

Core mechanics — Mortal Kombat style
Fill your Death Meter by landing hits and taking damage. At full charge, unleash your character's devastating Super Attack for massive damage and dramatic visual spectacle.
Every character's mask can be partially shattered during battle, revealing their true face underneath. Each character has a unique visual transformation and minor stat changes when their mask breaks.
Win a round with specific conditions met to trigger automatic Brutality finishers — over-the-top finishing moves unique to each character that end the match in style.
When Reverse God or Kairen copy a power and clash with the original user, a special "Copy Clash" sequence triggers — a rapid button duel to determine whose version is stronger.
Kumorashi's elements interact with the environment and other abilities. Fire + Wind = Inferno. Water + Lightning = Conductance. Mixing elements mid-combo creates unique attack properties.
The game's single-player arcade mode. Climb 12 escalating battles themed around each mask's origin story. Reach the top to unlock special costumes, secret stages, and lore cutscenes.
